Eighth wonder sigiriya

Hi guys have you seen my previous article about music from spider web.Now in this article am going to discuss regarding eighth wonder sigiriya.It is nothing but a mountain where beautiful palace is  constructed on  top of the mountain.These sigiria is completely surrounded with a green forest.at the top of mountain their is a required amount of water lakes and a lot of space which is covered with a fields.Before many years back these sigiria is a fort and their is a village at the bottom of these sigiria.On that Period many people are lived in these village under the kingdom of kashap.

Why sigiriya is named as lion mountain?

The meaning of sigiriya is a lion mountain after reading this article you can understand why this sigiria is named as lion mountain.The height of this mountain is nearly 600 feet's.Before this mountain is a normal kind of mountain but during the period from 477-495 kashap king has built a beautiful palace at top of the mountain.He made different kind of parks around the palace and made many lakes around the palace in order o fulfil all the requirements for people and for farming.kashap king also started crops near the palace premises.Bottom of these mountain he developed village and started ruling.during that period their are many people stays on these mountain area.Right now their is only feature about that palace is remaining, but no one are staying in the premises of that mountain.
